VetMyCredit public finding methodology v0.1

Purpose
VetMyCredit compares explicit credit-report lines with explicit records supplied for the audit. The output is evidence screening, not legal advice or authorization for external action.

Supported disposition states
SUPPORTED: the report line, comparison record, reason for review, rule citation, and evidence receipt are all present.
HELD: evidence is missing, ambiguous, low-confidence, or does not resolve a required date or identity boundary. A held question is not presented as a supported finding.
CLEAN: the tested rule found no supported mismatch in the supplied materials. A clean result is valid and does not create a paid recommendation.

Finding minimum
Every supported finding identifies the reported line and source locator, the comparison evidence and source locator, the plain-language mismatch, the rule that may apply, the disposition, the evidence list, and the artifact SHA-256.

Evidence boundary
Failed or low-confidence pages cannot support findings. Ambiguous tradeline candidates are held. Month-only dates that straddle a required boundary are held until day-level evidence resolves the boundary. The method does not manufacture missing facts or convert uncertainty into a paid urgency message.

Known limitations at v0.1
Real bureau uploads are not open. The current public example is Case Zero, the founder's own file. Supported report formats and production ingestion remain separately gated. No result predicts a score change, deletion, bureau response, approval, loan term, or timeline.

Change policy
Later versions append to the registry. A correction identifies the prior version and affected claim. History is not silently rewritten.
